Life is Always in Progress

After a quick temple trip on July 15, we met up with the cousins for the "everytime we get together we have to take a cousins picture".....picture.  It was only 104 degrees at the Harry Myer Park in Rockwall.  It is always fun to get the kids together for this "event".  Trust me......it's an event!  We always have a pouter, whiner and cryer in the group.  And today was no exception either.  Maybe the heat had something to do with it?! 

And by the way....

I got a beautiful Nikon camera for Mother's Day and I intend to use it.  So, sit down, stand up, move over, wipe that smirk off your face and say CHEESE!  (please)

After our emotional moments and heat stroke, we stopped by my childhood friend Gloria's house on the way home.  I don't even remember when we became friends.  We were young, maybe 10?  We went to church together, girl's camp, and some family vacations.  She's one of those friends that you don't have to see every day or week, and can pick back up just like that! 

This visit I noticed a picture in her living room that says "Life is Always in Progress".  That is so true!  There is always something going on, good or bad.  I love this girl!
