And by the way....
I got a beautiful Nikon camera for Mother's Day and I intend to use it. So, sit down, stand up, move over, wipe that smirk off your face and say CHEESE! (please)
Harry Meyer Park....

So glad we didn't have a meltdown here. The tree had ants crawling all over it.
Our last group shot......there were runners wanting to cross the bridge and we gave them a pass. Did I mention it was 104?
Kelci & Taylor. The oldest cousins!
After our emotional moments and heat stroke, we stopped by my childhood friend Gloria's house on the way home. I don't even remember when we became friends. We were young, maybe 10? We went to church together, girl's camp, and some family vacations. She's one of those friends that you don't have to see every day or week, and can pick back up just like that!
This visit I noticed a picture in her living room that says "Life is Always in Progress". That is so true! There is always something going on, good or bad. I love this girl!
Ladies - this is how you avoid showing your double chin in pictures!
Elizabeth (Glo's 3rd daughter) & Taylor. We were at the hospital for Glo's first son, Austin!

This was a fast and furious trip, but oh so great!
don't you just love having a camera...and being the one behind it :)
